Russia Non Ferrous sector in 2014

Russian non-ferrous metals producers saw a considerable improvement in profit margins last year despite a slight decline in output.

Russia has succeeded in ensuring of high reserves replacement ratios for most of non-ferrous metals in recent years.

The U.S. and EU sanctions against Russia are unlikely to affect the non-ferrous metals industry.

Russia’s copper exports surged by 30% in 2014.

Russia’s Non-Ferrous Metals Industry in 2014 market survey, providing an insight in major trends in Russia’s non-ferrous metals industry: production, exports, industry’s holding structure, performance of key industries (aluminum, nickel, copper, zinc, lead, titanium, magnesium) as well as operation summary of key holdings and companies (United Company RusAl, GMK Norilsk Nickel, Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, Russian Copper Company, Chelyabinsk Zinc Works, VSMPO-AVISMA, Electrozinc).
